Sony to Produce Electric Car with Honda
Sony openly displayed interestingly another vehicle that it will deliver with Honda. The vehicle, declared in October, showed up for public review last week at the Buyer Gadgets Show, or CES, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The electric vehicle, called the Afeela, will utilize innovation from Qualcomm, including its "Snapdragon" computerized body.
Sony's hotly anticipated drive into electric vehicles shows how makers are progressively focusing on the driver's involvement with vehicles.
Yasuhide Mizuno is the CEO of Sony Honda Versatility. He told the CES career expo, "to acknowledge insightful portability, consistent programming updates and elite execution figuring are expected… Keeping that in mind, we will work intimately with Qualcomm."
Qualcomm as of late sent off another processor, the Snapdragon Ride Flex SoC, that handles both helped driving and cockpit capabilities, including amusement. Beforehand those capabilities were taken care of on various chips, or PC processors. Uniting the two can assist with lessening costs, a Qualcomm official told Reuters.
